Where in the World is Matt Lauer?

The Today Show has been a staple of weekday morning TV on NBC for over 50 years.

In recent years one of their delightful specials on the show is a piece called "Where in the World is Matt Lauer?"

Lauer is the longtime co-host of the show and once a year he does this crazy travel piece where he flies to a different part of the world each day for five straight days. This is the week and he was in Africa on Monday, Madrid on Tuesday, Malaysia yesterday and today he was in . . .

. . . SWITZERLAND!!!

Matt Lauer was at the Sphinx Observatory located atop this incredible, remote (elevation 11,300 feet) mountain known as the Jungfraujoch in the Swiss Alps.

This site is also known as "The Top of Europe."

SPECTACULAR!

This spot is only about 30 miles southeast from our soon to be hometown of Thun! A very scenic train ride from Lauterbrunnen takes you to the Jungfraujoch in about two hours.

LET'S DO IT!!!

Reading is FUNdamental

The Roman Catholic Church, scandal, Fatima, intrigue, the Pope, murder, Vatican City, intimidation . . . what's not to like about this book.

It is especially good if you are a Catholic or, better yet, if you ever attended a Catholic school.

With nuns.

Just read it!

Well, I´m getting more and more in to the idea of taking the whole family to Switzerland this spring or summer.
